Our History
In September 1973, a group of 25 people gathered for the first time at Bob Edwards Jr .High School to plant a charismatic church in the Marlborough community. 10 months later, we moved in the first phase of our church building at 3812 Marbank Drive. It is now a multi-national, multi-generational congregation that is part of the Christian City Church network of Churches. In September 2019, we planted our second location in Strathmore, AB.
Our Vision
We exist to be a relevant, life-giving, spirit-filled church for anyone to call home.
We love people. We love seeing people step into a real relationship with Jesus Christ. Out of that relationship flows everything we need in this life – forgiveness, freedom, hope, and love. It opens the door to meaningful relationships with others. It leads to to discovering our purpose. We believe in a church that speaks the timeless message of Jesus in a way that is real and relevant. We believe in a church where life flourishes at our Sunday gatherings and throughout the week. We believe in a church that is consistently connected to the power and presence of God. We believe in a church where everyone and anyone can find a place to call home.
We will see this accomplished by holding to four guiding principles:

We are called to follow Jesus by serving others

Lead with passion and vision in all areas of life

Bill and Debbie Olson have faithfully served as the Lead Pastors of C3 North Calgary since 1985. Bill and Debbie love people and have a desire to see them understand their full potential in God and God's full power working in them. Their heart is that church would be a place where there is hope for the desperate, freedom for those caught in destructive situations, and a light for anyone who is lost. They are proud parents to two adult children, Kathryn and David.
